Relaxed Biking in an Amsterdam Parc
The Amsterdam Windmill Tour takes you one of Amsterdams most beautiful parcs. It is a located in the eastside close to the meetingpoint so very relaxed to start your bike tour. No stressy traffic from lots of bikes and pedestrians. We will stop here for a little while (about 5-10 minutes) and do a short introducton to get to know each other a little better 🙂
Skinny Bridge
The skinny bridge definately is Amsterdams most famous bridge. Check out the movie Diamonds are Forever with Sean Connery on Youtube. You don’t drive a yellow Triump Stag like him, but you behave like a local now. You are on your bike pal! Shall I make a video from you while you cross the bridge on your bike? For me as a guide this is one of my favourite spots in Amsterdam. A must see for your best pictures!
Non Touristy Beer Brewery
Do want to go to a tourist trap and stand the line? Then you should book the Heineken Experience tour. If you’re interested to see a non touristy beer brewery and you want to try one of Amsterdams best brewn beers? Then let’s pull over here and have an IPA or a strong blond one. The brewery is only open in the afternoon. So let’s have a beer with the locals, away from the crowds ! Cheers buddy.
Amsterdam Windmill
Holland and Windmills. They go hand in hand. This old windmill from around 1725 was used as a cornmill during the second world war. It’s the tallest wooden windmill in the Netherlands at 26.6 meters high, has a thatched roof and it’s registered as a National Monument. The mill is owned now by the municipality of Amsterdam and it’s unfortunately not open to visitors. But at least, you can have your awesome windmill picture now.
